Join Friends of Coal Creek Writer-in-Residence A. Manette Ansay at Erie Social Club for an evening of writing — and a few close readings — inspired by wintry weather.

Bring your laptop, tablet or a fat pad of paper. All levels/genres welcome! Warming drinks & cozy treats available a la carte.

About the instructor: A. Manette Ansay is the author of six novels, including Vinegar Hill, which was an Oprah Book Club Selection and New York Times bestseller. She is also professor emerita at the University of Miami, where she directed the MFA program and taught courses in fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry. Ansay lives in Erie with her husband.
