Help Plant a Pollinator Island at Trails at Coal Creek

Your water detention basin is getting an eco makeover!

Bring your own tools and join us to plant a 300-square-foot pollinator island just north of Coal Creek. This island will contain 30 plants that support a variety of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and song birds and will bring native flowering beauty to the area from spring to fall.

We need 10 to 15 volunteers for a variety of tasks including: weeding, planting, watering and mulching. Let’s get these plants in the ground so they can establish before winter and wow us with their spring bloom! Please support the effort by donating a plant or materials.
