Teasel Tussle #1

Wild Teasel is a riparian pest.

Wild Teasel is a common, invasive weed in riparian habitats, spreading prolifically and outcompeting native plants. Join us for the season’s first Teasel Tussle.

In conjunction with our partners at the City of Lafayette Open Space Department, we’ll work within the creek corridor to chop last year’s seed stalks and bag and remove this year’s rosettes. If you want to directly impact the floral mix along the creek, weeding is your project. Teasel isn’t so tough.
