Los Amigos de Coal Creek invitan a los estudiantes de middle school y high school de las comunidades del corredor Coal Creek (Golden, Superior, Louisville, Lafayette y Erie) a participar en el concurso de poesía con composiciones originales, escritas en inglés o español, e inspiradas en Coal Creek, un arroyo que se extiende por 29 millas, conectando paisajes urbanos, suburbanos y naturales tremendamente diversos.
Premios
Premios para el primer ($100), segundo ($75) y tercer ($30) lugar serán otorgados en las siguientes cuatro categorías:
1. Poetas de High School escribiendo en inglés
Primer lugar/Segundo lugar/Tercer lugar
2. Poetas de High School escribiendo en español
Primer lugar/Segundo lugar/Tercer lugar
3. Poetas de Middle School escribiendo en inglés

Friends of Coal Creek invites middle and high school students from the communities of the Coal Creek corridor (Golden, Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, and Erie) to submit original poetry in English or Spanish inspired by Coal Creek, a 35 mile watery corridor connecting wildly diverse city, suburban, and natural landscapes.
Prizes
First ($100), second ($75), and third place ($30) prizes will be awarded for poems in the following four categories:
1. High School Poets Writing in English
First Place/Second Place/Third Place
2. High School Poets Writing in Spanish
First Place/Second Place/Third Place
3. Middle School Poets Writing in English
