All right, so I’m more excited about this than is probably normal, but we have a chance to help the City of Lafayette Open Space Department get rid of some kochia at the Public Road trailhead. Kochia is a horribly invasive species that we sometimes call tumbleweed and it is everywhere, like literal fields full of it and nothing else. This is the weed you see fringing the path. Let’s beat this baddie back to make room for native grasses!
