Lunch Hour Project: Teasel Squeezel #4

  • 1794 pioneer circle Lafayette, CO, 80026 United States (map)

Join Friends of Coal Creek and the City of Lafayette's Open Space Department on our next teasel weed pull.

Common teasel is an invasive riparian weed that hoards water and sunlight and crowds out native plants that are more valuable to local pollinators and wildlife. It is one of the most prevalent weeds in the riparian system around here.

In this Lunch Hour Work Project, we'll finish our work digging rosettes to stem the teasel tide. Tools, training and safety briefing provided.
