Join Friends of Coal Creek and Peter Ruprecht to bird the mouth of Coal Creek canyon and its environs looking for endemic and migratory bird species. The itinerary has two stops: The Coal Creek floodplain and a burn scar in the foothills where we’ll look for woodpeckers, bluebirds and others. This is Peter’s favorite local spot to bird and he leads in a way accessible to both beginning birders and seasoned birders alike. Join us!
