Pollinator Garden Installation at The Peaks

Friends of Coal Creek is just over the moon to announce that we’re parterning with the Butterfly Pavilion and The Peaks at Old Laramie Trail in Lafayette to install a pollinator garden. We’ll be clearing invasive species, turning the soil, and putting in a buffet of native, xeric flowers and shrubs to support nectar-feasting insects. Pollinator gardens have well known benefits for mental health of those who visit them. This project benefits not only the creek, but also the seniors who live at The Peaks.
