Our popular full moon hike series returns with March’s full worm moon*.
Join us for a gentle hike on a pleasant evening, beginning at Aquarius Open Space in Louisville. Writer-in-Residence Erin Robertson will lead the hike themed on the harbingers of spring. You are encouraged to bring a poem or reading to share that touches, however loosely, on this topic.
The stirring of the earthworms is a sign of the approaching spring. What does that mean to you?
Our permit limits us to 15 people. Please register your party here so we can get an accurate headcount. We will hike about 1-1.5 miles.
*We probably wouldn’t have named it that, as earth worms are a non-native species in this area. Historically, beetles, fungi and bacteria were the decomposers and detritivores of the Plains.
